This article explains how payments and deposits work at Skydive Swahili.
It covers the booking deposit, accepted payment methods, balance payment, group payment handling, and receipts.
A deposit is required for every tandem skydive booking.
The tandem skydive deposit is USD 50 per jumper.
A booking is confirmed only after the deposit has been paid.
No deposit means no confirmed booking.
Each jumper must have their own deposit payment.
This applies to:
Individual bookings.
Couples.
Families.
Small groups.
Large groups.
Corporate or event bookings.
For group bookings, every jumper must be confirmed with a deposit.
A group booking is not fully confirmed until the required deposit has been paid for each participant.
The deposit is part of the final tandem skydive price. It is not an extra charge.
For a standard tandem skydive:
Standard tandem skydive price: USD 350
Booking deposit: USD 50
Remaining balance: USD 300
If optional extras or surcharges apply, the final balance may be higher.
A booking is confirmed only when:
The customer selects an available booking slot.
The required participant details are submitted.
The required deposit is paid.
Skydive Swahili or the online booking system confirms the booking.
A booking is not confirmed by:
Asking about availability.
Sending a message.
Calling Skydive Swahili.
Filling out a form without payment.
Saying that the customer intends to come.
Selecting a time slot without completing the deposit payment.
Skydive Swahili accepts the following payment methods:
M-Pesa.
Credit card.
Debit card.
Cash.
Cash payments may be accepted in:
Kenyan shillings.
United States dollars.
British pounds.
Euros.
Currency acceptance and exchange handling are subject to the amount confirmed by Skydive Swahili at the time of payment.
For online bookings, the deposit is paid through the online checkout page.
The customer may pay the deposit online using:
Credit card.
Debit card.
M-Pesa.
The booking system will not confirm the booking unless the required deposit payment is completed.
The remaining balance is paid on the day of the skydive before the jump.
The full payment must be completed before the customer proceeds with:
Final check-in.
Pre-jump briefing.
Gearing up.
Aircraft preparation.
The skydive itself.
A customer cannot skydive until the required payment has been completed.
The final amount may include more than the standard tandem skydive price if optional extras or surcharges apply.
Examples include:
Photo and video package.
Weight surcharge.
Transport, if specifically arranged.
Custom services.
Special group or event arrangements.
Optional extras and custom services must be discussed directly with Skydive Swahili staff unless a fixed price has already been published or confirmed.
For group bookings, payment may be handled in different ways.
A group may pay:
Through one person paying for all participants.
Through each participant paying separately.
Through another arrangement approved by Skydive Swahili.
The important payment rules are:
The deposit must be paid for every jumper before booking confirmation.
The full payment must be completed before each jumper proceeds with the skydive.
It does not matter who pays, as long as the required payment is complete.
If the online deposit payment fails, the booking will not be confirmed.
If the deposit is not completed, the customer should try again or contact Skydive Swahili for assistance.
If the remaining balance is not completed on the day of the jump, the customer will not be allowed to skydive.
Skydive Swahili may refuse service when required payment has not been completed.
For online deposit payments, the customer will receive confirmation by email.
The customer should receive:
Payment receipt email.
Booking confirmation email.
These emails are sent to the email address entered during the booking process.
For the remaining balance paid on the day of the skydive, the customer will receive a receipt after payment.
Customers should ensure that their email address and phone number are entered correctly during booking.
