This article explains how group tandem skydive bookings are handled by Skydive Swahili.
It covers group size, aircraft capacity, booking method, participant information, deposits, payment coordination, special events, custom landing requests, and operational limitations.
Skydive Swahili can accommodate group tandem skydive bookings.
Group bookings may include:
Friends.
Families.
Birthday groups.
Corporate groups.
Team-building events.
Wedding groups.
Proposal jumps.
Celebration jumps.
Private groups.
Other special occasions.
Group bookings are subject to availability, safety requirements, aircraft capacity, instructor availability, weather, and operational conditions.
There is no fixed maximum group size for a request.
A group can be accepted if Skydive Swahili has enough availability and operational capacity.
If there are enough available time slots on the requested day, Skydive Swahili may accommodate the group on that day.
If there are not enough available time slots, the group may need to be split across:
Different time slots.
Multiple aircraft loads.
More than one day.
Skydive Swahili’s aircraft can take two tandem clients at a time.
This means larger groups are divided into pairs across multiple aircraft loads.
Skydive Swahili decides how participants are grouped for each aircraft load.
Load planning depends on:
Aircraft capacity.
Participant weight.
Aircraft weight and balance.
Instructor availability.
Weather.
Safety requirements.
Operational sequence.
Skydive Swahili may not pair two heavier participants together. A heavier participant may be paired with a lighter participant for weight and balance reasons.
Group members may be scheduled close together when possible.
However, Skydive Swahili cannot guarantee that specific people will be paired together on the same aircraft load.
Pairing depends on aircraft loading and safety requirements.
Requests may be considered, but final aircraft load allocation is decided by Skydive Swahili.
Groups of 10 people or fewer are encouraged to book through the online booking platform.
Each participant must be booked separately.
Each participant must have:
Their own booking form.
Their own participant details.
Their own selected time slot.
Their own deposit payment.
Their own waiver.
Larger groups should contact Skydive Swahili staff directly.
Manual booking may be arranged for:
Large groups.
Corporate events.
Team-building events.
Wedding or proposal arrangements.
Special event bookings.
Custom landing requests.
Special scheduling requests.
Manual booking still requires the same participant information and deposit rules as online booking.
Every participant must provide complete and accurate information.
This applies to online bookings and manual group bookings.
Required information may include:
Full name.
Email address.
Phone number.
ID or passport number.
Age or date of birth.
Sex.
Height.
Weight.
Relevant health or eligibility information, if requested.
Group organizers must not provide incomplete or estimated information unless Skydive Swahili specifically approves it.
Incorrect participant information may affect safety assessment, aircraft loading, waiver records, communication, and eligibility.
A deposit is required for every participant.
No deposit means no confirmed booking.
A group booking is confirmed only when the required deposit has been paid for each booked participant.
If one person pays for the group, the number of deposits must match the number of booked participants.
Example:
8 booked participants require 8 deposits.
10 booked participants require 10 deposits.
20 booked participants require 20 deposits.
Skydive Swahili does not require each participant to pay separately.
Payment may be made:
By each participant individually.
By one person on behalf of the full group.
By a company or event organizer.
Through another arrangement approved by Skydive Swahili.
The payment requirement is simple:
Deposit must be recorded for every participant before booking confirmation.
Full payment must be completed before each participant jumps.
It does not matter who pays, as long as all required payments are complete.
Every participant must complete and sign the participant agreement and liability waiver before jumping.
Each confirmed participant receives a waiver link.
Participants are encouraged to complete the waiver before arrival.
Completing the waiver in advance helps reduce check-in time and delays for the group.
No signed waiver means no jump.
Birthday groups, corporate events, and team-building events can be arranged.
These bookings are subject to:
Date availability.
Time slot availability.
Group size.
Aircraft load planning.
Instructor availability.
Weather.
Operational requirements.
Deposit payment for each participant.
Waiver completion for each participant.
Large groups should contact Skydive Swahili directly before booking.
Wedding, proposal, and other celebration jumps may be arranged.
These bookings should be requested directly through Skydive Swahili communication channels, not through the standard online booking process.
Customers should discuss the full request with Skydive Swahili staff before booking.
Special arrangements may include:
Timing requests.
Group coordination.
Landing location requests.
Photography or video coordination.
Event-specific planning.
Other custom service requests.
Pricing is determined case by case, depending on the request.
Skydive Swahili normally uses its designated landing area in front of the office.
Groups may request a different landing location in Diani Beach.
This may be relevant for groups staying at a hotel, resort, villa, or other accommodation on the beach.
A custom landing location is not automatically approved.
Skydive Swahili must assess whether the requested location is suitable for parachute landings.
Approval depends on:
Landing area size.
Obstacles.
Wind conditions.
Beach conditions.
Tide and surface conditions.
Public access and crowd control.
Safety of jumpers, staff, guests, and the public.
Access for staff and equipment.
Aviation and operational requirements.
Custom landing arrangements may involve an additional cost.
The exact cost is determined case by case.
If a large group requests a date that already has confirmed bookings, Skydive Swahili may consider adjusting the schedule.
Existing customers may be asked whether they are willing to move their time slot or date.
Confirmed bookings are not automatically moved.
Schedule changes depend on customer agreement, availability, and operational planning.
Group bookings are subject to the same weather, safety, aviation, and operational limitations as individual bookings.
A group booking may be delayed, split, rescheduled, or postponed because of:
Weather.
Wind.
Cloud.
Rain.
Air traffic control restrictions.
Aircraft availability.
Aircraft technical issues.
Instructor availability.
Safety decisions.
Operational readiness.
Skydive Swahili will try to keep group members scheduled as close together as possible, but safety and operational requirements take priority.
Groups should contact Skydive Swahili as early as possible.
Advance planning is especially important for:
Large groups.
Corporate events.
Team-building events.
Wedding or proposal jumps.
Custom landing requests.
Transport coordination.
Special timing requests.
Requests involving guests or spectators.
Short-notice group bookings may still be possible if suitable time slots are available.
Customers can request a group booking or special arrangement through Skydive Swahili’s official communication channels.
Requests may be sent by:
